Rick Yamamoto: Maximising your entrepreneurial mindset

reach for the sky

‘Most people do not know what their strengths are. When you ask them, they look at you with a blank stare, or they respond in terms of subject knowledge, which is the wrong answer.’

- Peter Drucker

It’s amazing to come into Kennel. on a Monday, and its raining cats and dogs, but you receive an incredible piece of news: Rick Yamamoto is in town and can do a workshop this week on talent leverage and entrepreneurial skillsets.

With three decades of experience identifying, managing and leveraging talent in the investment industry, Rick is a veteran in understanding how to maximize talent for the greatest impact. Rick’s influence ranges from managing a $2 billion dollar fund to coaching individuals towards greatness, and his passions revolve around creativity, exceptional performance, systems thinking and entrepreneurship.

There’s 2 sessions to choose from, or both:
Session I:  Workshop, 5-7pm / Applying your Strengths:
For those who have taken Strengthsfinder tests or would like to take one, this workshop introduces tools to help analyse your results and understand how best to apply them to your everyday life, maximise the power and efficiency of your talents. If you haven’t taken a Strengthsfinder test, you’ll do it before the workshop and come with your results. The workshop fee covers the test materials/book. When you register an online access code will be sent to you to access the test; on the day you’ll get the book.
Session II: Seminar, 7-9pm / The Entrepreneurial Mindset:
This talk discusses entrepreneurial skillsets and expertise, acknowledging that every person operates under a difference preference system depending on their unique makeup.
Please RSVP indicating your interest for either, or both. Super limited places available.
It’s a Friday night for sure, but between being out on a predictable evening or being holed up with Rick discovering how to leverage your own inherent uniqueness, it’s definitely the latter.
